The Road North

The Road North is a surreal journey of violence in medieval Europe. Two wanderers make their way home after a bloody battle only to find there is nothing left to return to.

Originally created for the Fuck This Jam 2014, The Road North combines Infinite Running (Canabalt, Temple Run) games and Walking Simulators (Dear Esther,Gone Home, Stanley Parable), to make a Finite Walking game combining the constant forward motion of an Infinite Running game and the environmental storytelling of a Walking Simulator to create something that is hopefully unique!
